Hi! My name is Suri and I am the co-writing head for SEVA. I am passionate about advocating for social change and sharing stores that highlight a variety of communities in our world. I hope to be able to amplify voices and inspire others to engage in service to help others. I strongly believe that storytelling is a powerful way to increase understanding; reading about these issues can pique your understanding and lead to deeper knowledge of important social ideas.

Miley Lee

Hello, My name is Miley! I am passionate about writing and believe in using knowledge to spread awareness about lesser-known issues that demand attention. Additionally, I enjoy reading and learning about new topics, as I find that each new subject deepens my understanding of the world. I joined SEVA to make my voice heard and to advocate for communities both in and out of Hong Kong. Through my articles, I aim to shed light on challenges faced by these communities and inspire positive change. I hope you like my articles and find them thought-provoking!

Livia Lee

Hello! I'm Livia and I'm currently a Year 11 student. Joining the SEVA writing team has given me the opportunity to delve into alarming issues in Hong Kong and bring it to light. Being able to write articles has allowed me to experiment with different writing styles and find one that resonates with me best whilst also expressing my creativity and developing my writing skills. I find it enriching to be able to do this alongside volunteering at charity events also organised by SEVA. In my spare time you can find me crocheting, watching Netflix, playing tennis and spending time with family and friends. I hope that this year I will be able to continue raising awareness through my insightful articles and inspire others with the prospect to do the same.

Hi, I’m Constance, a Year 10 student in KGV. I’m always either reading, drawing or crocheting during my free time. Being part of the SEVA writing team has given me the chance to research and understand a variety of situations that happen around the world. While fulfilling my passion of writing and expressing my opinions, it also fuels my interest in global problems and helps broaden my views in the these situations. I really hope I can continue participating in these activities and spread awareness to the public or even motivate others to participate too!

Hi, I'm Eugene! I like sports, aeronautics, engeering, history and cats. I joined Seva as a way to shed light on hidden topics and issues that otherwise would be less known and understood. I believe that more should be known about these hidden topics and issues and I hope joining Seva is a way I can help. Hello, My name is Xavier and I’m in year 10. I enjoy meeting new people and doing new things to challenge myself, I joined Seva as it was a really nice opportunity to improve my English skills whilst writing and telling important issues of the world that otherwise wouldn’t be shared to others. Issues that needs ears to listen, mouths to spread the news to help the earth little by little. Hello, my name is Sahil. I love learning new things, and challenging myself to go out of my comfort zone. I joined Seva as I wanted to address issues that tear away at our world, and do something about them. No matter how small of an impact an article has, if no one takes a step to solve the problem it will never get better. I wanted to combine my passion for learning new things with this to spread awareness about these issues to educate others on these real world issues. Hello, I am Sam I am in year 10 and part of the Seva writing team. I joined seva as I am appalled by the ever growing amount of social and environmental issues plaguing our modern world, and believe their is currently a lack of easily accessible publications for young people. that can advocate and shed light on issues that effect our world greatly. A Year 12 student at King George V School, with a passion for scientific inquiry and critical thinking. As a member of the Global Goals Council, and SEVA, I have great teamwork, and communication skills. Eager to apply my strengths in event organization or real-world settings, I joined SEVA because I wish to foster awareness about the circumstances that underrepresented communities have to go through or present correct versions of inaccurately represented data via the medium of infographics.

Hey everyone, my name is Niyati Khabiya! A little about myself - I love doing gymnastics, going shopping, drinking boba, and watching Brooklyn 99 in my free time. I’m also part of my school’s charity committee and have been a passionate member of initiatives leading Tung Chung charity carnivals, helping bring people together for meaningful causes. Through SEVA, I’m excited to continue giving back, spreading kindness, and making a positive impact in our community.

One thing about me is I love to volunteer, photography, media and design. I find joy and happiness in helping people. However, currently I don’t have that much time to physically go and volunteer so when I stumbled across SEVA I decided to join it, as part of the social media team. This way I can help people and advocate all online. I’m glad I found SEVA because I have a lot to contribute to this charity as well as a lot to learn.
